RWS Group, LLC Announces Management-Led Buyout from Watertone Limited

SAN FRANCISCO, CA March 8, 2004—-RWS Group, LLC, a leading worldwide provider of translation and localization services, today announced that it has completed a management-led buyout of the company from Watertone Limited, a U.K. company. The buyout was led by RWS Group CEO, Lyra Spratt-Manning, and CFO, Dianne Pierce, with financing provided by private U.S. investors.

Industry veteran, Lyra Spratt-Manning, will continue to lead the company as chief executive officer. Spratt-Manning has been with RWS Group for over ten years, serving the last five as CEO. She was instrumental in developing RWS Group's language resources and technologies to provide enterprise language solutions to companies operating in global markets.

With worldwide operations, including San Francisco, CA, Boulder, CO, Columbia, MD, Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Moscow, Russia, RWS Group will continue to maintain ISO 9001 certified quality language services and processes.
